• Holder of 10 issued and 15 pending patents in the controlled release field and was the initiator of 7 military related technology patents.

• Mr. Redding started his career as a Mission Specialist for the space shuttle and worked at NASA in conjunction with military uses of the Space Shuttle from 1979 through 1985.

• License or R&D agreements with DuPont, Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, McNeil Labs, Church & Dwight, Ottens Flavors, GNC, Nabisco, General Mills…

• Oversaw sales at DuPont to $ 25 MM over 18 months, and Sales at the DuPont/Conagra partnership to $ 43 MM.in 2 years.

• Mr. Redding, has led a highly innovative team to develop a non-invasive drug delivery technology, The U-Strip Patch, since 2016

Dr. Cornelius Pitts /Clinical Director at Transdermal Global since May, 2016. comes to Transdermal Global with over 35 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and drug development. He has served in several clinical research leadership positions at GlaxoSmithKline. Academically, he is an adjunct assistant professor of pharmacy practice at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, has an appointment at Kenyatta University department of pharmacy and complimentary medicine, Nairobi, Kenya, and has served on the faculty of the Drug Information Association.


Sanjay Pradhan, PhD Chemistry and Director R&D – Sanjay received his PhD from Lucknow University, India in 1999 in Chemistry. From 2002-2007, he was senior manager of the Skin Cell Core facility, Skin Disease Research Center (SDRC) UAB. In addition, he was Research Associate II, Baylor Institute for Immunology Dallas, Texas USA, a need-based consultancy providing support to scientific and clinical faculties. Its core objective was to expand business, provide primary cell cultures from humans and mice. He was successful in implementing a number of skin studies for medicinal transport and participated in developing collaborative projects.


Scott Bergdorf, Technology Director. – In 2016 Scott began as an intern with Transdermal Specialties as a Lab Assistant and became familiar with the patch and device production methodologies. Today he coordinates production with sub-contractors for the Trans-Insulin patch, the control device, transducers. His duties consist of implementing data into reports, keeping track of inventory in the lab, quality control, digital editing and construction of all patches. He has participated in the American Diabetes show and created and designed box kits that were sent to the FDA. His current position for the company is to plan and organize the upcoming clinical trials and help develop ISO 9001 patch production procedures, coordinated animal trials and electronics SUBS.
